Come discover a little sliver of sand and sea! Somehow in the middle of nowhere, I found myself easing into a community of like minded individuals, each searching for a beautiful and peaceful life under the Mexican sun.

Provence

It’s the peak of summer on the Mediterranean. Unlike most of my past travel adventures, this journey is not unchartered territory for me, but this time I’m searching for what the French refer to as savoir faire; artisans who have acquired special skills through extensive experience.

Oaxaca

Oaxaca had been calling to me for quite some time. I am drawn to the region not only for their rich culture, but for their traditions in candle making, their various textiles, their broad spectrum of colourful clay ceramics, and their stone and woodwork. But if I’m being completely honest, what also drew me in was their world-class cuisine.

The Atlas

For many years I heard about the masterful weaving techniques of the Berber people. It was finally time to discover their beauty first hand. A journey into the High Atlas Mountains opened my eyes to a whole new world of colour, and left me with a penchant for sweet mint tea.
