A vintage Zemmour rug, hand woven using high quality wool. Do not let the immediate colour fool you. This piece is quite unique, as it has been washed many times to form a golden hue of rosé, but in fact beneath the surface you will note a dense red. In direct sunlight it can appear brick red, while indoors it can appear a warm pink.
*Please note this item is both vintage and handmade, therefore slight imperfections within the fabric or build is to be expected. Approximate age is 40 years old. This rug shows wear, in particular on the top right corner where you can note some previous patch work…adding to it’s story!
