This vintage Beni M'Guild was woven by and previously belonged to a family that resides in a small village just outside of Timahdite. Timahdite is nestled within the Middle Atlas Mountain range and is known for having very severe winters.

The Beni M'Guild rug style is known for its versatility (a 2 for 1!).

During the cold winters in this region, the family would use the side that has the thicker wool pile in order to keep the house warm, however during the hot months they could in fact flip the rug over and use the flat side.

With simple geometric diamond shapes against bold colours this unique piece radiates beauty. Due to the age of this piece, the pile has been worn down to a low pile, but will withstand the test of time for many decades to come!
